Meet the Team

Dr. Greg Gonzaba graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and earned his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Greg Gonzaba serves as Medical Director for Gonzaba Medical Group Northwest and SeaWorld of Texas. Dr. Greg Gonzaba is a physician in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine and has been practicing at Gonzaba Medical Group’s Northwest Clinic since 2000.

After graduating with a bachelor's in criminal justice, Alyssa began working with the Gonzaba Medical Group Research Division in 2022. Since joining the Research Division team, Alyssa has enjoyed impacting patients' lives while staying at the forefront of cutting-edge research. 

Laura was born and raised in San Antonio’s Southside. Her desire to help those in need led her to study criminal justice in college before joining the Gonzaba Medical Group Research Division just 2 years ago. With over 10 years of experience in customer service and prioritizing patient satisfaction, Laura is passionate about assisting patients to participate in clinical research trials.

Sarah graduated with an associate in fine arts from Palo Alto Community College in 2014. After working in customer service for over 10 years she joined the Gonzaba Research Division in 2022. As a member of the Research Division, Sarah is excited to shine a light on modern medicine research. A branch of research that relies on scientific evidence, Sarah is thankful for researchers’ and clinicians’ hard work and dedication to improving Medicine for our community. 

Lori is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has been working with Dr. Greg Gonzaba since 2009. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a Master of Science in Nursing. Throughout her career, Lori has attended multiple conferences across the country to study advanced lipidology. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, competing in triathlons, and traveling with her husband and son.

Before joining Gonzaba Medical Group in 2000, Dr. Anna earned her medical degree in 1987. During her career, she has served as Chief Of Rehabilitation Medicine Services and Chair Of The Medical Ethics Committee. Dr. Anna joined the Research Division at Gonzaba Medical Group in 2021.

Michael is an alumnus of Brigham Young University and The University of Texas at Austin. With both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business administration, Michael holds over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Having been with Gonzaba Medical Group (GMG) for over 10 years, Michael works directly with Dr. Greg and outside physicians to identify GMG patients who might qualify for research studies being conducted in the San Antonio area.
