
High triglycerides
High triglycerides are a type of fat found in your blood. When triglyceride levels are too high, they can increase your risk of heart disease, stroke, and other health problems, such as pancreatitis.

Study purpose
Reduce triglyceride levels and prevent acute pancreatitis.
Requirements
-
18 years of age or older
-
Triglyceride level greater than 500 mg/dL
-
Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18.5 and 45 kg/m
Major Disqualifications
-
Currently pregnant or breastfeeding
-
History of heart failure, or a heart attack or stroke within the past year
-
Pancreatitis within the last 12 months
-
Cancer diagnosis within the past 5 years
Study Appointment Schedule
This study includes one screening visit and 11 outpatient study visits every 4-6 weeks.
