What is Type 1 Diabetes?
Type 1 diabetes is a condition in which your immune system destroys insulin-making cells in your pancreas.
Requirements
​
· Must be 18 years of age.
· Be diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes for at least 5 years.
· Experiencing low blood sugar below 55 at night.
Major Disqualifications
​
·Type 2 diabetic
· History of pancreatitis or liver cirrhosis
Study Appointment Schedule
This study will involve about 6 study visits and 2 phone calls. The approximate total time spent in the study is estimated to be 16 weeks.
