
Heart failure prevention
Heart failure happens when the heart isn’t able to pump blood as well as it should. This can make you feel tired, short of breath, or swollen in your legs and feet.
Study Purpose
To evaluate how effective this new medication is at preventing heart failure and reducing cardiovascular complications.

Requirements

If you’re an adult living with diabetes or high blood pressure, and if you have a history of heart or circulation-related conditions, you may qualify.
Major Disqualifications

Diagnosed with heart failure

Uncontrolled chronic conditions

Cancer diagnosed in the last 5 years

Pregnant or breastfeeding
Study Appointment Schedule

Monthly for the first 3 months, then every 1.5–3 months for the next year, followed by alternating phone and in-person visits every 3 months.
