High cholesterol

This research study is evaluating a medication that is already on the market and has a well-known safety history. It is commonly used to help lower the risk of major heart-related events such as heart attack, stroke, and hospitalization due to unstable angina in adults who are at increased risk.

The medication is also used alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise to help reduce “bad” cholesterol (LDL-C) levels in adults with high cholesterol.
